How do you get your website on top google search results?

So we are making a website for our company. We make custom hoses for pretty much anything. We want out site to be at the top of google if you type in something like "1994 jaguar power steering hose" or anything like that. What would be the best way to do this? Thanks!

type in the thing your looking for there you'll find the things you need so for example try somthing like if ware looking for worlds greatest news type in greatest rsualts for _ then you'll find it

Google "SEO" (which stands for search engine optimization). You'll get a lot of ideas on how to do this. In addition, Google AdWords has a tool that has you type in phrases (in your case, something like "power steering hose") and it shows you how many times it's been searched and what your competition would be like. With the phrases, add locations as well. For example, if you were based in Austin, Texas, you would put your phrase + location, with and without abbreviations.

What you're asking about is called Search Engine Optimization (also called SEO). If you google SEO, you'll get tons of recommendations. Essentially, you want to use lots of relevant keywords, heavily interlink all of your pages, and get some outside sources to recommend you (maybe a friend or customer who also has a website).
