Why is my website's title not showing in search results?
When I search for my website, the title of my website appears as "New York web design".

But my website's actual title is different: "Web Development New York | New York web design | SEO New York"

How can I rectify this issue?

Hello,

Hope you doing well. This is the very common problem facing so many webmaster to their website. I have also face same problem and try to resolve the same. I am sharing my strategy which I have follow, before this let me know with the help of every targeted keywords you are getting this title or by some of the keyword only.

Anyway I am getting this part of title with the help of some keywords and from some others I am getting my original title. I have removed my title and use a sentence in title and cache our web page. Now I am getting the new title in my page then again I have change my original one. In this way I am getting my right title in search engine.

Hope this will be useful to you.

You must have change the title name. Don't worry, it needs some time to get refreshed in Google's database.

Hi,
sometimes, if you are listed in DMOZ , the search engines will display snippets of text about your site taken from them instead of your description meta tag.
