why my crush didnt reply my text on Facebook?

There's a guy who is very cute in my school. It's been a couple of months that we knw each other. Sme times it seems that he likes me but some times it seems he doesn't...I've sent him a request on Facebook and he added me, after 2 weeks been friends on Facebook, I found that he was the most person who visits my profile. He used to be very shy from the bign . He couldn't even look at me, he used to look on the floor, and talkin very fast...but I made him to feel comfortable around me, I used to tell him " you don't have to be shy you can look at me". After that he started to be very comfortable beside me and looking into my eyes. I started to text him on Facebook nd he used to answer me always..but then I decided to tell him that I like him...I texted him telling " that I really wanted to talk to him, and for him to reply my text...I even asked "please", but he didnt reply it , but I saw that he was online 2 hours after I'd sent him the menssage..it doesn't shows me that he'd read it, but I'm pretty sure that he saw it and he didnt reply it...

Please I really need your opinion
Is he ignoring me?
Or is he scared wht I'm goin to tell him?
I'm really confused I don't understand him
And some times I get him looking at me.
