I'm setting up a fundraiser BBQ event at a park. Suggestions?
Menu: Grilled hot dogs, buns, maybe chips and condiments?
Cost: $2?
Games to be available - frisbee, soccer, football, badminton with net
location: local park shelter reserved
marketing: facebook, church announcements, emails to friends and aquaintances
time: how soon can I have it? 3 weeks?

anything I'm missing, and any suggestions on running it or getting food donated or anything?

Use only Kosher meats. No Pork products. Jewish neighbors are great people and you don't want to miss out on their friendship by offending them by making your event something they would have to abstain from. Don't do any deviled eggs, the heat will cause them to spoil and make everyone sick.

Contact the people who have a burden for your community to help and work with them. Dress modestly because you don't want to give the impression that the community welcomes lewd behavior and thus attract gangs to disrupt the community gathering with riotous brawling, drunkenness and sexual perverseness. If it gets out of hand it will quickly be over run and turned into a block party with beer and then police arrest made for drunkenness in public.
