i have a new laptop that wirelessly connects to the internet, then after 20-30 minutes lose the connection?
i have a friend that has a new hp laptop that keeps losing the wireless connection, after around 20-25 minutes, i contacted virgin media his provider for him who changed the wireless channel! Connected ok then disconnected 25 mins or so later. Works fine with an ethernet cable.

The operating system is windows 8 or 8.1 not sure which one?

Anyone know if its something in the laptop, or a virgin media problem, any help would be most appreciated and save me from being pestered by my friend who has zero knowledge of computers!
