Yahoo mail - my browser freezes. It's Firefox v.25 on machines running XP, Win7 and Ubuntu. Any ideas?

Have you tried re-installing or uninstalling then installing Firefox?
If not maybe it's your operating system or computer (hard-drive)...
If that's it try going on tech support or maybe taking it to the repair shop or retail shop.
If they can't fix it then just re-install Windows or Ubuntu, and see if it helps

try other browsers, like IE or Opera. Works fine for me in all (including FF)

I had a similar problem with Yahoo and Firefox, I now use Chrome browser without any problems. Apparently it is something to do with a Java mismatch (?)
