Verizon Prepaid $50 unlimited plan for smartphone?!?!?!?! Advice!?
Okay, so I'm about to get divorced and I'm sure it's going to get nasty within the next couple of months and I'm planning on running out and getting the Verizon monthly prepaid account with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data for $50 bucks (unless it's changed) WELL I'm not at all sure how much data I use since I've been on his family plan for YEARS and he takes care of that bill I literally have no idea even how much data 1GB will give me? SO much question is, I will basically be starting brand new and would like to know if that plan is worth it? I have Twitter, Instagram (will be deleting facebook because eff him I need to refrain from seeing him) and I Like Youtube, yes I have netflix but not really a person that goes out to watch movies/shows, I like to watch the long stuff cozy at home...Oh yes, I also enjoy Pandora, and I like listening to a couple of Podcasts oh about 2-3 times a week....any advice?I'll be on my own with no job so 50-60 budget is all I can really afford at the moment...thanks Smile

-----------nope

I have Twitter, Instagram (will be deleting facebook because eff him I need to refrain from seeing him)
-------- no need to delete facebook account... just "ban and block" him on facbeook. You wont see him and he wont see you, no one on the app, not even in search results.

and I Like Youtube, yes I have netflix but not really a person that goes out to watch movies/shows, I like to watch the long stuff cozy at home...Oh yes, I also enjoy Pandora, and I like listening to a couple of Podcasts oh about 2-3 times a week....any advice?
---------based on this, 1 GB will last you 6-8 hours.... Streaming media (everything you said above) is the #1 data killer.... think og 1GB as 1000MB.... think of a podcast being 700MB.... youtube video, 400-800MB, a movie on netflix or hulu, 2000MB-3000MB...... 1 hour of Pandora 100-200MB....

I'll be on my own with no job so 50-60 budget is all I can really afford at the moment...thanks Smile
---------you need unlimited data if you plan on living like that.... if your CURRENT phone is ATT or Tmobile, then unlock it and then get $50/mo unl all on Straight Talk at http://www.straighttalkbyop.com (bring your own phone=byop)... if its any other phone, like Verizon or Sprint, make sure its 2G/3G only OR global Ready 4g LTE then go to the Straight Talk website.......... me--im a bandwidth raper.. i need unlimited.. I was once Verizon until they stopped the unlimited data plan on me... So, I high tailed over to Straight Talk. $45+tax/mo for unlimited talk/text/data refill card at walmart... so about $49/50/mo after taxes

i understand it will be tough. but dont give up the things you love just to make ends meat. see me on facebook fan pages if you wanna talk about it or other options. But I honeslty do think Straight Talk is best for you, your entire data needs, and fits your price range.
