So my boy cousin and I was never close until he visited our place for a short period of time about 2 yrs ago. We got close easily but when he got back in his place, it felt like we werent anymore. Anyway, I posted somthing on his facebook months ago and he called me "cuz" the first time.
I wanna mail him today and idk if I should call him "cuz" back?

I never got close to any of my cousins so this is new to me. Plus, he seems close to his other cousins and I feel self-concious. How do I get over this feeling? '.'

He's your cousin so you can def call him cuz whenever you want! Doesn't matter how close you are he's still your cousin. Just say it and don't feel awkward about it. People say cuz even if its not rly their cousin. Cuz is a very popular nickname for most anyone so you Def have usage right to this nickname for him. plus it doesn't matter how far away family is or how often you talk. Family is family and distance doesn't change that. It's an unwritten bond. It's in your blood. Distance whatever don't change that.
