Where can I find a good free website hoster?
I'm an artist trying to promote my work, and I'm just getting into marketing. I have the selling location, I have the home studio, I have the facebook fan page crap, and I want a website, but I don't want to pay, because in the art world, art doesn't really pay off until you're dead, and I'd like a website while I'm still alive. I'm decent at coding cuz I like to glitch video games and I used to code my own myspace and stuff, but that's about all the knowledge I have in that field. God, I'm hopeless. Help?!

There are so many, you can use:
http://www.wix.com/ (WiX)
http://www.webs.com/ (Freewebs)
http://www.000webhost.com/ (For more experienced users, but has the best hosting with PHP, MySQL, and some other things you won't find on other server space that's free)
Hope this helps.

http://www.host1free.com

Since wordpress is the most popular online platform to build a website and wordpress have many themes already so you don't really have to code or anything and it has a friendly interface. Besides wordpress they also allows many more platforms. Well check their site and it's totally free with a good amount of space enough for photos of your art.

Option number two would be tumblr.

Most famous free blogging site and your photos can be spread out wide in their.

I would highly recommend against going with a free website host. If you want to be taken seriously you should get a real domain and real web hosting. It will immediatly boost your credibility. The good thing is that you can get basic web hosting that should fit your needs pretty cheap. GoDaddy is good for basic domain and web hosting. I would recommend them as a good start. The following link will get you 3 months of economy hosting for only $1.99 a month.

If you insist on free hosting. Then you could do a blog either through blogger.com or tumblr.com.

i find x10hosting.com to be very good, it allows many different web apps like joomla, drupal and other easy install galleries etc.

only caveat is you would need to sort out your own domain, that unfortunately isnt free, unles sou want to use something like .co.cc etc
