Where is the best place to blog?

I am looking for a place to blog. The idea for my blog is to post recipes, organization and DIY, and random things like that. I am looking for a place that will get me many views on my blog. Also, is there anything else besides blogging I should do to get people to view my posts? (I.e youtube, pinterest ect.)

Blogger is one of the best and easiest to use. In terms of promotion, create pages on social networks like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Google+ with links to your blog posts.
