Internet is very laggy but not slow?
Recently my internet has been extremely laggy, yet things like Youtube videos and other websites have been loading fine as normal, the only problem I'm having is while playing video games I will get kicked from the server, or it will simply be laggy. When I've tried to host lobbys I usually get kicked for making everybody else in the game lag, or I make the other people in the lobby get kicked simply because they lose connection to my host because of the lag. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, my internet is not capped because other things are loading fine. This has only started happening recently (started about a month and a half ago), at first my internet was simply going slow, I waited a while and it started to speed up and return to normal but now it's very laggy. Is there any ways to fix this or does anyone know why this is happening?

It is probably bad ping, as opposed to (download) "speed". If your ping is bad you're likely to lose packets being sent and/or received, which would make you lagg, especially in online gaming.

1. Service you machine. Recomend either kingsoft pc doctor or toowiz care.

2. Go to
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound> then click on device manager.
Locate your NIC (network adapter) right click then click on " unistall the driver" . Then right click on any device and click on "Scan for hardware changes" That should reset your nic card and also a restart. If you can download the latest drivers from hardware manufacturers.

3. Try restarting your router . See if it helps . If it does not. Try reseting it to factory default. Depending on router it should have a little hole that a paper clip can go through. If not try to log into the router . Should have log on details at the bottom depending on model. Try to to a firmware update "if possible " when you are logged on to the router.

4. Call your ISP if all else fails. Its their job to make sure that after your machine the other connections are ok.

I think, Internet do work according to network(signal). Otherwise you can contact your internet service provider. All internet service provider has complain number. So i suggest dial complain no.
