For skype, when using my iphone, is it using my minutes?

I plan to use it with iphone, but maybe eventually a samsung smart phone. I noticed google voice was actually using my minutes, is this the same deal with skype?

minutes? skype uses either your skype credit (if you call landline) or simply your internet connection (if you call another skype user) -> it's voice over ip

Skype dont use minute its use data (net) if u call throw skype its use ur skype credit..

No. Skype is a VoIP app. Requires internet, so will not use minutes
