Should you tell someone that their facebook photos are a disgrace?
I told my sister that she looks like an out-of-control idiot on her fB profile... there are nearly 40 pics of her holding drinks, looking spaced out and making a fool of herself. She looks like a total dork. The irony is that she is a marketing graduate. Anyway, she is furious with me... says I am judging her. I feel it's more concern especially as there is a history of alcoholism in our family. Am I right or wrong to have said something to her?
She is 30 in 3 months. Ads |

I would say your both right and wrong perhaps you could have encouraged her to put different pictures on something that shows how lively she is instead of your other comment. I would have been pissed off to if my brother were to say something like that. She is trying to portray she is something else on the profile which is normal a ton of people do that just to meet more people thinking that who they are now is boring. I would go apologize and suggest to her that she should put some fun pics on to show how fun she really is.

No it wasn't wrong to say anything but maybe the way you said it was wrong. Sit her down and tell her you're only looking out for her and that you love her even if she gets angry again stay calm and tell her that you want her to tell you what she thinks about your fb photos..

You're right that this is extremely stupid. More than one person has lost a job or not gotten a promising one because of what's been seen on facebook.

Most students pictures have some pictures of drunkeness and other things that most people would prefer their family to see. If you dont want to find embarressing pictures then dont go and look for them.

do you pay her bills? if not, mind your own business and live YOUR life. she will get what comes to her in due time by posting pictures like that.
