A celebrity followed me on Twitter, should I DM?

So I made a twitter account 2 days ago, and my favourite singer followed me! (doesn't matter who) and I now have the ability to DM (direct message)..is it ever appropriate? Also is it a compliment since she only followed 59 people? I'm excited but I hope I can keep her interest going! Any advice?

Go ahead, direct message her, but don't be creepy. If she doesn't reply, then just leave it. But if she does, then sound casual, and reply.

Its always a compliment when a celebrity follows someone on Twitter. If your favorite celebrity did follow you on Twitter you can message her which is the same as tweeting her but it wouldn't be public. Just make sure that you treat her normal. The more you treat her normal the higher chance she will have a longer and better conversation with you and keep you as one of her good followers. Goodluck.

YES when a Vertified acc followed me I DM'ed them like 2 mins after I didn't even ask for a follow,but don't be a spam and if they only follow 59 people it's most likely you would get one back
