What are some tips to stabilize internet connection speed?

My connection speed isnt very consistent, but jumps around from 50 to 10, to 30 mbps.etc It is supposed to be 50mbps but it still is usually much less, even though I am the only one using it

make sure you are on a clear channel you have to go into the router settings to change but get a wifi finder for your local area on your phone and you will see who is sharing your local channels if this is not the case then phone the isp and ask them as you are paying for 50mbps and not gettting what you pay for ask for explanation and if not satisfactory then take it higher too their superiors thanks
