The name of the site, its page titles, how other people link to it, and very importantly, its content, are some of the most significant factors in SEO.

However, these are not the only ones to watch out for; smaller tweaks and information can be added to a page to really communicate well with search engines. For example, Google has over 200 different factors that it checks for on each page in order to determine its rank. Some of these are obviously more important than others, but there are so many because there are lots of different kinds of sites out there with useful information.
