How can I hide my friend box (from myself) from appearing on my Facebook page?

I have this friend on Facebook and every time that I look at my page, she's always one of the 9 people that appear in my friend's box. I don't want to delete her and I I don't want to keep seeing her face every time I want to view my own timeline. Are there any apps or something which will "hide" my friend's box from my own eyes? Thank you.

To hide your Facebook friends list, go to your profile page and locate the Friends box in the left column. There is a small icon of a pencil in the upper right-hand corner of the friends box that will open a small window containing the settings. Simply uncheck the box marked "Show my friends on my profile" and your friends list will no longer show up.Try this..may help you.. all the best...!!

No, Friends section in your Timeline can't be hidden, you can only set the privacy. See it yourself, go to your Timeline, click MORE on the far right, just under your cober photo, then click Manage section, untick the bix for sections that you don't want to be shown in your Timeline. We can't untick About, Photos & Friends.

And what 9 pic shown there is depends on FB; from what I see with mine, we can't change that, some said if you communicate more often with someone, their pic is shown there, but it's not true from what I see in mine.
