Google Chrome isn't working.?

Whenever I want to look something up on google (chrome) I start typing the first few letters of what im searching then google just freezes like dead on its tracks. I've waited for a while then a message pops up saying "Google chrome is not responding. Would You like to kill pages?" or something like that. It only happens on my computer because right now I'm on my sisters and it works perfectly fine. What should I do ?

You might have to uninstall and reinstall your google chrome browser..that might fix your problem
