hey i am the author of blog http://dharkari.blogspot.in this blog is getting more traffic from "www.vampirestat.com". I am writing on this blog. after hardworking blog reaches 9000+ visits but why the "vampirestat" is giving much more traffic to the blog..? Is this harmful to my blog..?

A glance indicated it's an automated site appraisal site that I think would only send a spider once a month.

You can block that referrer domain name in your .htaccess file
One example: http://www.novia.net/~tomcat/HowTo/domainrestric.html

If it were an honorable spider you might be able to instruct it to stay away in a robot.txt file

It is all about the content. If you use the content which is update on your blog, and then you submit to the other one, that is bad seo strategy. but the unique content to do the backlinks is good for your site. So make more wide links. .gov .com. us. .net. org ect. and simple site.

I am also experienced with same. some people come from vampire or zombie, i just clicked the link my status log what is going on. But don't click on those links because they are not real to you blog. Those website may have viruses if you clicked those links better scan your computer.
