Why do I keep getting a fake java update?
I keep getting this fake java update popping up when I try to watch something online, it pops up on the website watchseries, I know it's a adware virus I removed it with AVG and I thought that was the last of it, but it's still popping up and I don't know what to do because my anti virus is saying no threats? It's really annoying does anyone know how I can properly get rid of it, I would really appreciate your help

It could very well be a popup and be 100% fake and pushed by the website. I would try to use google chrome with ad block on.

Cheers

It could be from the website itself. try installing adblock add-on into your browser.
Check your browser remove any extensions you did not install.

Mozilla Firefox:
http://mzl.la/K8RwCz
Google Chrome:
http://bit.ly/ITk437

Run an adware scan with AdwCleaner it's portable no need to install very useful.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
1.Click scan
2.Click clean
3. Restart computer.

If at this point your still getting the pop-ups you are highly infected and will need to run a quick scan with malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/ even though you have avg installed there are infections that can sneak past avg malwarebytes will detect those.

Hi so when i read the question i did wonder till i saw the those famous three letters AVG. that is when i realised why you have a problem. you can't take a sugar pill to get rid of a virus.
when is it going to sink in you only get what you pay for and free anti virus is not it. so purchase a bona fida software and get some real protection.
