My kindle wont let me get to the app store why?

when I press apps at the top itll take me to my apps (which is usual). But when I click apps again at the top right to get to the app store it wont let me get there. itll just take me back to my carousel.

I assume you mean a Kindle Fire tablet

Could be

- your home Wifi is messed up, hung, having trouble connecting to net, your internet service provider is having a short outage <- most likely

- net lag

- Amazon web site maintenance

- some app you used could be buggy and left the net connection messed up

- virus (you should have one of those nice free Amazon virus protection apps on your Kindle Fire) and run it

- if you had stolen cracked ebooks on your account or otherwise abused your Amazon account (for example by repeatedly buying ebooks and returning them for a refund before 7 days) then you could have been banned from Amazon

Anyway - try fully powering off your Kindle Fire, wait 10 seconds, power it back on. Then see if it works OK

Try other Wifi devices in your house and see if they can currently connect to the web.
