Why are people over the internet so perverted?

So this week I made my little sister who is 11 a kik so we could share funny photos and links to each other.

Well not even after a day of having her kik, this guy asks if she wants to trade. She said no, and told him To go away but now he won't stop.

I started talking to him and he is 43 years old, and he is asking an 11 year old girl to trade pics with him. *facepalm*

Honesty, people seem to be way hornier over the internet and social media. Does anyone know why?

I've wondered that too. It's probably the same reason people are meaner and ruder online. Because it's anonymous and they can get away with it. All kinds of terrible **** goes down online, like encouraging others to commit suicide or anonymously destroying someone's reputation. Welcome to the Internet! : S
