Ebay import charges ?
So I live in Europe (Greece) and I want to buy something on ebay which comes from america.I've noticed that some of the sellers need additional money for import charges while some others don't.Is there any chance I will have to pay these money when the product arrives? ( I've bought from an american seller before and didn't have this problem.

Yes, Ebay US automatically adds import
charges to buyers from
outside the US.
You can calculate total import charge from the link below

Every country's Customs has different policies, and these policies can vary substantially, it depends on the product and your local country import and export laws limit, sometimes you need to pay charges to get the product, suggest you the total weight in your order had better less than 2 kg per purchase , then it is rarely meet with charges issue !

Yassou ! I'm surprised you are buying from the USA. The postage charges are horrific.
I know this isn't an answer to your question, I just wanted to comment.

I live in Cyprus and buy from eBay and online quite a lot. When I have purchased from the US I have never had to pay the seller anything extra. However, I do have to pay importation duties directly to customs at the post office when the goods arrive or in case it is sent via a courier the courier will charge me importation tax and a clearance fee. This is always done locally and is not the sellers responsibility as they are not the ones importing the goods. In my experience you should not be paying anything extra to the seller on top of transportation costs and the cost of the goods.

Hope this helps.
