How to manage what things should be shown on my Facebook wall?

Hello,
Looks like Facebook keep posting everything I do (liking pages, writing things on walls of pages) on my timeline wall. Is there any way to manage what it should show on my wall or at least disable showing what I wrote on some pages wall on wall of my profile? Thanks very much for any help .

Click one the pencil type button just on the upper right corner of your post or anything.

Then click on 'Hide from timeline"

Done
