Animal Crossing New Leaf Tropical Island Crash Solution?

On the Tropical island in Animal Crossing New Leaf, after Im on for maybe 20 minutes it shows Resetti on the top screen and "an error has occurred" on the bottom screen. Is there a way to prevent it or can you just tell me why it's happening?
