How come nobody can retweet my tweets on twitter?

On other peoples twitter my retweet button is faded meaning they cannot retweet my stuff. How can I fix this so that people can retweet? ADDITIONAL INFO: my tweets are protected is that the problem?

Make sure your tweets are not protected so that everyone can see your tweets even those non-followers. And I also suggest to tweet relevant and compelling tweets so that you can get the attention of your followers thus retweeting your tweets.Hope this helps!

Yes it is because it is protected.
