What is the ideal startup time for firefox browser?

My firefox browser has an average startup time of about 8 seconds. Is this considered as slow? What is the ideal startup time for firefox browser?

I don't know what the ideal start up time for
Firefox is but when I read your question I got curious. I did a start up of Firefox on my Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 I came up with 8 seconds.

This varies really a lot. The modifiers are:
- starting page "weight"
- added plugins, addons and toolbars
- your computer specs and general OS condition
- firefox version

I would say that 5-10 seconds is "normal". Mac computers start bit faster than windows generally.
