Google personalized search - what does this mean to SEO?

Hi all if you have heard about the google personalized search that they now have - how do you think this will affect SEO - Has it come to the death of SEO

It wont affect seo much.

Search engine optimization will remain the same but more blackhat techniques will come out to get ranked high on these personalized searches made.

yes thats right - it should not affect SEO too much - SEO will still be the main focus to get page 1 rankings -

The personalized search will not affect all searches. only searches which a user makes over and over again - so if someone is looking for recipes and they do it often then they will find the site they click on the most to rank higher -

For things such as purchasing a lcd tv or something else then these kind of searches should not get personalized unless you are searching for this day after day.

Its certainly not the death of SEO but it will make things harder. Users can also opt out of the personalized search by doing a google search and then clicking on browsing history - you will then need to disable personalized search.
