Iphone 4s data plan question?!?

So I got an iPhone 4s, and my parents got me the 300mb data plan. ($20/month). I don't plan on using youtube or downloading anything unless I have wifi at the time.
So what I wanted to know is if I keep the data plan on for imessage and ocasional facebook or instagram posting, will I be fine or will I use up my data really fast?

-I use AT&T.
-I text about 1500+ messages/per month.
-And ofc whenever I have wifi (school, home, starbucks, etc.) I will use it!

300 mb is very little. You might want to add a some

Just get a bandwidth monitor and keep track of it.

It's hard to say you'll use X kb of data a day/week/whatever, because it varies based on what you do and what you look at. Friends posting a lot of pictures on FB will bump data up faster than only a few friends posting status updates. Same w/ instagram- high volume = more bandwidth.
