turn off google voice search?

How do i turn off google voice search in chrome browserr on a samsung galaxy s3

Its really annoying when i press the x buttonn to clear a web address or something i searched and click twice and it ends up opening voice search by mistake

This is really annoying espeically when my fone is supposed to be on silent in certain sitautons

Also its a problem when my parents think im asleep but im browsing and i click his and it makes that annoying sound even on silent and then they knoe im awake still

Btw i know i spelt phone wrong i cba

Flash it with cyanogenmod, that'd do it. Be faster & better too, into the bargain.
