Why does my betta fish go crazy when he sees an iPhone?
I've had my male betta for almost a year, he's usually very active and he is usually pretty feisty when he sees food or my finger or something.

Today I held my phone against his tank to try and get a picture of him (for instagram Tongue) and he went nuts! Like he raced to the otherside of the tank and hit it, and was swimming really fast everywhere. I assumed it was because of the apple symbol on the back of my phone, I have no case on it and just thought the reflective apple symbol (iPhone 4) freaked him out. So I put a case on it and tried again, and he went crazy again. I tried it with a different colour and then gave up because he kept on going nuts. When I would put my phone down he'd be scared and still but then he would go back to normal.

That was a couple of days ago, and then today my sister was on her phone which has a mint green case on it, and she tried to take a photo of him, and he went crazy again?

What is it about iPhones? Is there some sort of radiation or something they can feel? There was no flash or anything, and despite the colour of the phone facing him he goes insane.

Kind of strange question, I'm interested to hear what you guys have to say.

Oh, and is there any chance he's hurt or anything? He seems a bit scared of me now everytime I approach the tank, he is a bit jumpy and instead of approaching towards me and flaring at me, or curiously staring at me and waving his little fins, he is sort of hiding.

Did I do any lasting damage? I hope not.

Thanks.
What? To the first comment, I'm only 15 but I've taken great care of him. I have him in a 5 gallon heated tank, I clean the water every week, have a variety of plants and decorations, and feed him a varied diet of flakes, pellets, and bloodworms. The year has gone by and he seems to be perfectly healthy - he is active, makes bubble nests, and his fins aren't torn or ragged. I don't understand what I did wrong, sorry I never read any rule that says 'never hold a phone against a betta tank'.
