Can I trust Ebay to import a game from Japan?
I'm planning to tell my parents to sign me up for an Ebay account. And I'm planning to use grandparent's christmas money to import a game called Tales of Vesperia PS3.

I'm a huge Tales fans and I already bought Tales of Graces F and Xillia, and waiting for Xillia 2 and Symphonia Chronicles.

I've been wanting to play this game for years ever since I saw it in 2009. Namco Bandai has refused to localize it, despite many fans wanting it. I'm very aware of the fan translation and it's nearly complete. The story has already been fully translated and the others parts are almost done. I'll use Youtube videos and translations on the internet for help.

This is my first time I ever used Ebay and I'm kinda nervous about it.

No, I will not use Play-Asia because I try to import a game from that sight, but it never came and my parents canceled it and got their money back.

I'm willing to pay for shipping though.

"Can I trust Ebay to import a game"

eBay does not import games. You are dealing with individual sellers scattered all over the world. You must decide if you can trust that seller or not.

When dealing with any seller always check their feedback page, (click on the number beside their ID). See what they have sold in the past, (if anything at all). If they have less than a hundred selling feedbacks it's questionable if you are dealing out of the country. Make sure they've sold similar items as what you are wanting to buy. People who sell comic books and used clothing don't suddenly start listing Rolex watches so keep your eyes open and use some common sense.

Make sure the game will play on your console. Some games from overseas will not play on American systems.

eBay allows you up to 45 days to open a dispute. If you let it go beyond that time you are up poo creek. Don't let a seller tell you it's going to take longer than that to receive it, it's a lie.
