I asked this earlier but would like some more opinions

I hadn't spoken to this girl for about 2 weeks until I saw her last Friday, she got on the same bus as me but we didn't speak until I decided I needed to tell her straight and got off at the same stop as her

I shouted her name and said I wasn't being ignorant and she said that she didn't realise I was even on the bus, she seemed genuinely happy to see me and I was STRAIGHT UP and asked if she still wanted to meet and if not then to just say but she said yes straight away without any hesitation

I had text her last Monday asking about meeting up but I didn't get a reply so I asked if she got my text and she said that she doesn't have her proper phone right now, we chatted for a bit and I walked with her back to her house

She said she will text me when she gets her phone back, I feel like an idiot for not sorting out a day to meet her when I saw her though

I just want to make sure we sort a day out because she's told me she wants to meet me and it's the 2 weeks Easter holiday at the moment

Would it be a good idea to message her on Facebook asking what day she can do?

I don't know why I'm overthinking so much....

You are def overthinking this! Either message her or don't and wait for her to text you. If she doesn't text then she wasn't that keen on meeting up anyway.

Well, you can ask her out and arrange a meeting if she really is so eager to see you but don't get annoying by writing her the whole time, give her the time she needs until she goes out with you. I don't like people constantly writing me about meetings- so just let her write you first when she has the time, if she wants to go out she will write you

Don't worry so much! If she really wasn't interested at all she wouldn't have said she wanted to meet up during the bus stop confrontation. You gave her an out and she didn't even politely decline. So Facebook messaging her something really casual like "Hey ____, are you free on Saturday? I was thinking we could meet up and _____" and just suggest something simple like getting lunch or coffee. Don't overdo it, but by not taking the out you gave her when you were straight up with her she basically invited you to keep talking to her. I wouldn't so much recommend waiting too long for her to talk to you first, as girls tend to be the ones who think that way. If she's doing what I did when my boyfriend started talking to me at first, I let him make the plans and contact me first every time, even if it meant sitting by the phone all day hoping for a text. Thats just how girls work. In an attempt to not seem clingy and desperate we sometimes overshoot it and come off as if we aren't interested. Obviously its working on you if thats what she's playing at. So just come up with an idea and ask her on a specific day to hang out. If she says she can't for whatever reason, THEN you let her be the one to substitute it with a different day or make other plans with you. Until then, take the lead.
