Your strength definitely lies in landscape photography. You have some very beautiful and dramatic shots of places, and I think you could market that (landscape photography is the easiest to sell as art to display in a home, for instance), but your photos that feature animals and people... I almost feel like they were taken by a different photographer because they seem extremely amateurish, especially in comparison to your landscape work. Your people pictures are just snapshots with no attention given to lighting or composition, and the kitschy frames and soft focus have got to go. I also strongly agree with everyone else that your watermark needs to either be seriously revised (Papyrus? Really?) or omitted completely. If you MUST have a watermark, make it tasteful and discreet so that it doesn't detract from the picture.
If I were you, I would definitely stick to what you're good at and expand your landscape portfolio. If you're thinking of pursuing photography as a career or even a secondary source of income, you need to refine your focus and make your portfolio more consistent. Ads |
