league of legends ping spike?

So basically the past couple of day's I've been playing league of legends no problem, but yesterday and today for some reason my ping on league has been around 200. This is only occurring on league because google chrome works fine and I did a speed test and got 28 ms ping. Any idea what the problem could be and how I could fix it?

Most likely it was an error in the patch update. I've had that happen three times in the year I've been playing. An uninstall and reinstall has always fixed it for me.

there is also DDosers who have been attacking the LoL server to make riot crash that's the reason why and there are so many of them they cant protect them all don't blame riot if you were thinking it's their faults.
