Can someone sniff your IP from twitter then use it to enter your computer?

I dont care if they log my password or get that my twitter I dont care about much but if someone was to compromise my files and system I'd be worried can that actually happen from twitter? When I tweet or direct message does it send my IP?

Unless you don't have a router (anyone with more than one computer or anyone with wireless will have a router), then "your" IP is the IP of your router, not your computer.
