internet light is off in my router?

I bought a new router (ZTE- ZXV10 W300) i connected it to the laptop to set up the wifi connection. DSL light is blinking , LAN1 is stable (that is what i connected my laptop to) and WLAN is stable too but the internet light is off. Please help me because im new to this whole router thing and i m so dumb when it comes to this THANK YOU

Yo don't say if you actually have internet.WAN port of the router should be connected to modem.Internet light shows if you actually have internet.If you don't have the light will not blink.

Have you gone into the router settings and put in the user name and password that your ISP provided you with?
