How can I share my computer's internet connection with my PSP?
I don't have a wireless router so I connect my laptop to the internet via a DSL cable. My PSP unfortunately can only connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. I set up an Ad-Hoc network on my laptop and turned on internet connection sharing. But when my PSP scanned for internet connections, the network I made didn't appear. And I know that my network works because I connected a friend of mine's laptop to it and everything worked. Please don't ask me why I would want internet on my PSP when I have internet on my laptop. I just need it, ok?

You are going to need a wireless router. No way around it. Your common laptop can not share internet connection wirelessly.
