Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Lag?

Has anyone else experienced occasional lag here and there on the Note 2? Its nothing substantial but I do come across some scrolling lag such as scrolling through Facebook, Instagram, and sometimes eeven the home screens, when it becomes choppy/stuttering. Is this an issue with my phone or is it apps like Facebook and Instagram and many others that lag on all phones? By the way I have a Verizon Note 2. Thanks

It is just an issue with Samsung phones in general. Touchwiz is such a large skin over it that it causes the occasional lag and stutter. Even the S4 has lag issues which for a phone with 2 gigs of ram and a quad core 1.9ghz snapdragon 600 is rather ridiculous. It is not just you my friend, although these days it is pretty much JUST samsung phones these days at least with the high end ones. Although I havent heard any significant lag on the Note 3 though. That thing is an absolute powerhouse though so that makes sense.
