how do i deactivate my facebook?

i want to deactivate my facebook. so i went to do it, and i entered my password, and it said i couldnt deactivate it because i was "the only developer of a platform account". but i dont know what that is, and i searched for it and no applications came up. what do i do?
guys. i know that! i went clicked on deactivate my account, and put in my password, and it said i had a platform application, but i dont even know what that is.

Login to your facebook account

top right of the page, go to:
Account >> Account Settings
or click this https://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?drop

at the bottom of the page, there is
"deactivate account" option

Actually you cant deactivate your account . If uwant to deactivate , remove all contents from it one by one , remove your friends, photo, name , etc and leave the profile.

Simply by going to the account status tab and click on deactivate my profile......
