my friend is on fb mobile. when i go on it sometimes says for example a phone symbol and then "37 mins" and then other times they will show online and then after 5 minutes i will refresh and it will say "10 minutes ago". and then other it's just the phone symbol what do they all mean?

It means they are connected to facebook on there phone

When It Shows The Symbol.&. 37 mins. Ago It Means Their On Their Mobile But Havent Been On It Since 37 mins. Ago. The Other One Im Not Pretty Sure But Either Way Their Offline. &. The Last One Means Their Logged On, On Their Phone But Their 'Away'

it basically means there phone is connected and thats the last time they checked up on it and if they have notifications on you can message them and they will get a notification

Unless The Green Light is Showing They Are Not Online if the Mobile Icon Appears That Means They Are on Mobile The Time Shows When they Were Last Active on Chat

Phone icon means they connected to FB using FB apk; if they connected to FB via web, eventhough the use mobile, there's no phone icon.

The "xx minutes ago" in general means they post it or sent message "xx minutes ago", that's it.

If there's a green dot, in Chat only, means their device still connected to FB, even they are sleeping or doing something else, so not necessarily that they're still actively 'using' their FB.
