Firefox keeps crashing?
Well, every time I open firefox, google pops up (as it is my homepage) and then when I try to search for something and I press enter... my laptop freezes and I can't even shut it down via start menu. I can then only shut it down by forcing it.
Anyhow, my laptop works perfectly fine when I don't open firefox. When I use another search engine (for example: Chrome) then it works.
I have tried shutting it down the normal way, without opening firefox and it works that way aswell.
Now though, I am using another user on this laptop which works perfectly fine.
....HELP! Please Big Grin

Try opening Firefox in "Safe Mode." This has no connection with Windows Safe Mode. What you do is hold down Shift and double click on the Firefox icon. You'll get a prompt that asks you to start in Safe Mode or to reset Firefox, try starting in Safe Mode first. If everything works in Safe Mode, go ahead and close out Firefox, then start up in Safe Mode again, but this time select "Reset" versus Safe Mode.

I hope this helps, if it doesn't, let me know and I'll provide further troubleshooting steps.

Change your homepage to something other than Google.
