Depending on what type of group you are fundraising for fundraising discount cards might be a good fit. They are the most profitable type of fundraiser and you don't have to carry around boxes.

They are a Win-Win-Win fundraiser, your organization will earn much needed funds, the merchants on the cards will gain greater traffic to their location, and the consumers are able to save a ton of money.

Hi.

When it comes to fundraising, there are so many things you can do.

I've got a list of 52 ways to fundraise. Maybe one of them will spark an idea for you.
http://www.wildwomanfundraising.com/52-w...-fundraise

But what works best, better than anything else, is asking someone you know, for money, face to face. It has about a 50% chance of success.

If you can ask 20 people you know, for money, face to face, $100 each, probably 1 out of 2 people will say yes. So that's $1,000. Once you get that money, sock it away in a savings account and don't touch it.

Next, start taking $10 per week and putting it in a jar and don't touch it. If you've got 104 weeks to fundraise, that's $1040 right there.

Another way to fundraise is to ask someone you know for money, on the phone. That has about a 25% chance of success. that means you need to reach out to 4x as many people as you need to say yes.

That should get you another $1000, if you start now.

And I've got tons of free articles about fundraising here: http://wildwomanfundraising.com

And I've written a book about fundraising as well, here: http://wildwomanfundraising.com/store.

Was this helpful?

Peace,

Hey Kristi!

Since you are looking for "Good" fundraising ideas, this - http://www.goodfundraisingideas.org/ might be a good place to start. Just make sure that you understand who your supporters are and what they might like or not like.
