How should I learn to draw manga?
I draw manga only one way, and that is by copying certain pictures, not tracing but just copying. That is how I draw. I want to know if that is the right way to draw. I am drawing the styles of Naruto, Full Metal, The Wirld God Only Knows, etc. but how else can I learn? I can't take any classes or buy any books for drawing by the way. I simply don't have any money and my parents wouldn't pay for it.

Seen, get a library card, there's a ton of manga books at the libraries.
You have an internet connection, start googling manga tutorials, there's over 200 of them online. |

Start drawing from photographs, don't try to reproduce the image use the Manga styling's you've already learned and see what you come up with. That will let you develop a style of your own and open the way to creating your own characters.

Drawing has no bounds, the best you can do in drawing is being yourself... I used to have drawing classes where they gave you topics to draw from... I couldn't express myself, but when I drew my ideas, they were miles better...
Use tutorials to improve accuracy, but never forget to express yourself, that's what matters in the art of drawing... |
