Is it possible to flip websites with no html skills? If so how?

The answer to this is yes, however without HTML & CSS knowledge at a minimum, in addition to experience with common content management systems such as Wordpress & Joomla, it will be very difficult.

Now that said, if by "flipping" websites you mean purchasing existing ones and selling them to others in that industry, what I would look for are sites that have a decent search ranking for valuable keywords. This provides additional value to a potential buyer since they could potentially get traffic and therefore customers by default, even if they had to invest money into having a better website built.

I would also recommend that you look for websites that are responsive, meaning they reformat on the fly based on the type of device accessing it e.g. it looks one way on a phone, one way on a tablet, and another way on a normal computer.

Finally, even if you don't have HTML & CSS knowledge, what you could teach yourself pretty quickly is how to install templates on someone's domain and make put their logo on it, modify copy, change pictures etc which doesn't demand a ton of knowledge. This will limit the type of website you could build/flip, but is an option.

I hope this is helpful to you. There is a lot you should research before making a major move on something like this!

Yes - you can hire or partner up with someone who has those skills.

You can be the seller and they can build.
