she literally doesn't even know a thing about it. if you mention evolution to her she will be like "what is that the one where we supposedly came from monkeys or amoebas? I don't believe in that nonsense" it almost makes me cry how willfully ignorant people can be especially when they are my own family.

she was an elementary school teacher, and taught both English and math like they all did for grades K-2nd. now she is a special needs teacher for the middle school. she doesn't have her own classroom anymore she helps kids from all over the school have various learning disabilities.

It's sad that people cant be bothered with learning the truth, especially if they're supposed to be an educator.

Its also sad that having cold weather closer to the equator to the idiots of the south where I live somehow disproves global warning when they don't know the first thing about what is actually going on.
