Bounce rate can affect SEO ranking?
If online visitors simply visit one webpage and left the webpage, automatically increase bounce rate. It's not a good sign for any website. Is the bounce rate can affect SEO rank? How?

More the bounce rate lesser will be your page rank. Make your content interesting, unique and relevant which encourage people to visit inner pages of your website.

Yes, this is not good from SEO point of view , bounce rate is increases if your website loading time is high so overcome this loading time problem Because if your website getting more time for loading , people is closed your before loading this type of situation increase the bounce rate of any website.

Surely you want to decrease your bounce rate, not increase it?!

You'll often get a high bounce rate when your SEO and marketing is more effective than your website. In other words, people go to your website because they expect it to be good, and then they quickly leave because they are unimpressed by it. That can be down to a number of factors, often:
not immediately clear what the site has to offer them
poor navigation, so they can't find their way round the site
visual design is unappealing, discouraging people from sticking around
visual design or quality of writing is weak, discouraging trust in the site
too many adverts or pop-ups ruining the website experience
design is incompatible with their browser/device.

That's not a full and exhaustive list, but it gives the main reasons why people might not stick around on a site.

The other reason, of course, can be that they have found everything they need on the first page, and have no need to go any further, so that's a good thing!

Websites or blogs with higher bounce rate have less chance to get up in rankings. Say for example, if your website or blog posts carry high bounce rate, say 100%, that means all of you site visitors leave your website/blog without visiting any other page. This surely indicates that your website or blog does not have that criterion to get up in the rankings.

On the other hand, if your website bounce rate is 70%, there still will be a chance to be penalized by Google Panda or Penguin updates. You will want a bounce rate within 40-60% for content site to recuperate from Google bounce rate penalty to get a decent ranking for your website or blog.

Bounce rate is when people come on your first page and leave from there only. It has bad effect on page rank as google understand that the page is not informational and well designed so they have left it. It also has effect on the conversions as the people will not go further so the where there may be some conversions. This reduce your ranking in google. So you should design a good and attractive page so that people stay and surf more pages of your site.

I have read that some where that Google doesn't use Google analytics data for ranking. Here is the Matt Cutt video on it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgBw9tbAQhU

And about ideal Bounce rate : Its totally depends on your niche. For example: SEO blog ( user engagement ) should have low bounce rate but in case of deals ( Click to claim to get the deal ) sites its better to have high bounce rate.

Don't use pop ups, Improve website design, focus on Navigation & Usability, Reduce website loading time, Use multimedia ( Video) for user engagement. There are many other depends on your niche.

Hope this help you out....
