Having problems with my twitter feed?

Lately on twitter I can't see any notifications I have. I can't see who favorited my tweets or retweeted them or mentioned me. I can see them if I click on the tweet sometimes but it doesn't show up in my mentions feed. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the IOS 7 upgrade since I didn't do it and this started happened a week after it came out. Should I just do the upgrade? I really didn't want too but if its going to mess my phone up of I don't I will. Thanks
