Would I be able to do this?

Would I be able to do this?
Hey Everyone,

I've had long Bieberish hair for a while (2 years-ish) and I'm looking for a change. Seeing as it's the 'style' and I like the look, would a long-ish quiff suit me? (Hopefully I'll post pics below)

I have very light brown/dark blonde (with like a gingerish shine) hair, it's totally straight, and it's very fine, but I've got a fair bit of it (If that makes sense). How would I style a long quiff, and what sort of products would I use, especially with such fine hair? Mousse? Hairspray? Blowdrying? Straightening?

This is how my hair is now -

This is the sort of hair is like this guy -

(Sorry for such a long link)

Thanks you guys

If not, what sort of hairstyle would suit me, as I'm DESPERATE for a change?

Oh. My. God. Yes. Get that haircut. It looks so good on blonde guys and it will suit your glasses. Haha. I think you should definitely get this cut and it suits your facial features as well as glasses and hair colour. Anyway, hope this answered your question and helped? Smile Good luck Big Grin And also, to style it, you would simply have to maybe blow dry it and push it mostly to one side and maybe use some (non harsh) light spritzy type gel to make sure it stays like that all day. Once again, hop this helped? Good luck Smile

You have an oval face shape....

"Oval: The oval face is the ideal shape. It is designated as the "egg" shape. It is wider at the forehead and tapers to a well rounded chin. This type of face looks equally becoming with hair worn low or high on the head; and likewise, either a center or side part or no part at all is becoming. depending somewhat on other facial characteristics."
L.S. Trusty, "The Art and Science of Barbering" pg129.
.... and good features; we cannot see your ears or your frontal hairline; assuming those are fairly regular, should be able to fully suit most standard medium to short styles; try a regular haircut now and then in the summer if you want to go shorter, experiment with the short pomp(pompadour) styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut. First try an ivy league and then if there is a desire to go shorter, progressively shorter crew cuts. By the way, for males, the original pompadour styles were short. Pomps(pompadours) are usually styled with control wax; the longer(higher) the pomp, the coarser and denser the hair has to be for the style to be possible. With fine, dense hair, longer than a short pomp probably isn't practical. Sure it might be able to be frozen in place with gel and hair spray but who really wants that. A wax does not set up a stiff breakable hold like a gel and hairspray; the hair can be tousled and brushed or pushed back into place. Since a wax is applied to dry hair, more can be added during the day if needed. A good barber can usually design a regular haircut or one of he short pomp styles to fully suit most young guys. Hair grows at an average rate of 1/8" per week. A photo is the best way to describe a style to a barber or stylist.

Some barbers consider that all crew cuts should have a flat top, so it is best to not rely on words alone for even a widely recognized style like a crew cut.

Search the internet for images of football(soccer)star Lukas Podolski for examples of ivy league and crew cut styles. A minute dab of control wax aka butch wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. A butch comb also helps with grooming the short pomp styles- the small, flat, plastic, oval, pocket brushes that one finger fits through and barbers sell for about a dollar. A boar bristle military brush is usually available for a few dollars and while too large for a guy to carry in his pocket, is nice to have at home.
