Why do girls nowdays post slutty pictures of themselves on facebook?

I see it all the time on facebook, im checking out some friends pages seeing whats going on with in their life and one of my friends subscribed to someones profile with her sitting on the sink showing off her ass i also see this when i subscribe to a meme page for funny pictures . And these girls are like 16 or 17 and im staring at my screen saying "what the hell shes just a kid" Then i see that the same person tells me to subscribe to her supposedly friend who is in the same position or in a sluttier position. What the hell, why do girls do this? I don't need to look at their asses everytime i log on. My girlfriend would kill me if she saw me looking at these photos. Only reason i use facebook for is for meme's, keeping up with friends, and new products coming out from my phone company or favorite store.
